We are both Business majors and we know how important it is to lift each other up. We created this blog to address issues that women face when trying to rise through the ranks in their career.
We feel that women will be interested in the things we will discuss.
We also feel this is an educated platform for women to address and listen to other women's issues related to the business field.
This blog is so needed! I am hoping to read on the paths that women take to open doors in male dominated industries. Recognizing women for their achievements in the work force is long overdue!
ReplyDeleteI do think women receive recognition for their hard work but I don't think they advance in their careers as fast as men do. It seems as if men rise through the ranks of their career more than women. I also think women aren't treated and respected as they should be. I have experienced harassment in the workplace and I watched other women put up with the same thing. These are all issues we hope to talk about.
DeleteI look forward to the content you will have on this blog. As a woman in the corporate world it will be refreshing to learn of ways to be more assertive but not so much so that I undermine or make anyone feel threatened.

I think this is an important blog for men as well. It will help give different perspectives and help men understand some of the struggles and issues women deal with in the business world.

DeleteWe hope to encourage men to listen as well. I think it might help if men could listen to us talk about issues we can all relate to as women. It may give men in the workplace a different perspective of us. We are just as capable as anyone else.
